WineFest at St Michaels is pleased to have many wine and food venues for 2012. At each of the wine tasting venues you will be able to purchase all of the wines that you love without having to go to another location. We will have food to purchase at most wine tasting locations. Over 300 wines will be poured at WineFest and will be available for sale on premises in addition, to the high end tastings taking place on The PATRIOT. At The Kemp House
The Old Brick Inn, Kemp House is the lead WineFest at St. Michaels wine tasting Venue and the home location for the WineFest Chef Demonstrations.The wines tasted at the Kemp House will include both Old World and New World vintages. The wines will include California, Oregon, France, Italy and Spain. Onboard the PATRIOT
Onboard the PATRIOT, while cruising on the beautiful Miles River and seeing the beautiful sights of St Michaels from the water you will have one hour to taste the best wines offered at WineFest at St Michaels. The PATRIOT tastings have been the #1 rated event of previous St Michaels Winefests and the cruise ( a $24.50 value) is included in the cost of the tasting. Key Lime Cafe, a founding member of Winefest at St Michaels and is located in a renovated cottage in the Historic District of St. Michaels at 207 North Talbot Street at the intersection of Talbot and Mill Streets, very close to The Patriot , The Crab Claw and Simpatico pouring venues. At The Crab Claw
This is The Crab Claw's first year as a Pouring Venue at WineFest at St Michaels and we are very excited to bring you this wonderful tasting venue right on the St Michaels Harbor. Situated at the end of Cherry Street, across the Honeymoon Bridge and right next to the PATRIOT and The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, The Crab Claw is projected to be a huge hit. At This Venue, you will be tasting in excess of 40 wines and some fantastic Crab Claw finger food will be available for purhase along with WineFest and Crab Claw merchandise. At The Village Shoppe
This is The Village Shoppe's third year as a pouring venue and is a perennial hit with its fantastic location surrounded by flowers and fantastic gastronomic delights. Located across from the Kemp House and close to the St Michaels Brewery, The Village Shoppe is a fantastic wine tasting location. At Carpenter Street Saloon
Carpenter Street Saloon - a St Michaels Staple will once again be hosting the WineFest at St Michaels Grape Stomping Competition. This event is highly rated and a huge amount of fun. Be prepared as this event does get a little messy but is an absolute blast. Carpenter Street Saloon is located on Talbot Street ( Main Street of St Michaels) and is in the center of the action for WineFest at St Michaels. At The Medicine Shoppe/ Creative Expressions
This is the second year for Creative Expressions and first year for the Medicine Shop as pouring venues at WineFest at St Michaels. Last year, Creative Expressions hosted Laytons Chance, a fantastic Maryland Winery and this year we are planning on hosting 2 Maryland Wineries at this joint location. At Creative Expression, envision surroundings of color, beauty, and a little bit of whimsy as the owner is a fantastic artist and creator of the WineFest at St Michaels Posters for the last 3 years. Foxy's for the second year in a row will be a spirits tasting venue at WineFest at St Michaels. As they say in Real Estate, location, location, location and boy does Foxy's have a beautiful location. Right on the St Michaels Harbor, across from The Patriot and The Crab Claw you will get some great tastes of fantastic spirits and be able to purchase some dynamite food while enjoying the beautiful sites of St Michaels Harbour |
